Lexus and Cadillac are considered direct competitors with their luxury vehicles. As you can probably tell, both are rich in background, history, and culture. Some consider these factors the driving force behind the success of both companies. However, it’s good to take a deeper look into the technical aspects of models from both companies.

Tendencies for Both Brands

Cadillac has a tendency to prioritize miles per gallon for both city and highway driving. They also tend to offer all-wheel and rear-wheel drive, where Lexus sticks with the front-wheel option with more consistency. For horsepower, Cadillac offers oscillation between two maximum speeds, hence the savings on miles per gallon, where the second is higher than the maximum for Lexus models in the same range.
